Support
Seven Movements, for iPhone.
Write to support@schemasoftware.co and a person will read it. It is one person, so a reply can take a day or two — but every message is read, including the ones that turn out to be about something we got wrong.
If you are reporting something broken, the version number at the bottom of Settings is the single most useful thing you can include.
There is no account, and nothing to log in to
Seven Movements has no sign-in, no password, and no profile. You did not create an account when you installed it, so there is nothing to recover, reset, or be locked out of.
This is also why there is nothing to log in to on a second phone. Everything lives on the device it was logged on.
Where your workouts are kept
On your phone, in a database inside the app, and nowhere else. There is no copy on a server, so we cannot see your training, restore it for you, or move it between devices. If you delete the app that data goes with it — we never had a copy to give back.
Getting your data out
Settings → Your data. Two buttons, two formats.
- Export everything writes a JSON file with all of it: every session, every set, the exercises you added yourself, your saved workouts, your settings — including the sessions where you logged nothing.
- Export my log writes a CSV with one row per logged set, which is the one to open in a spreadsheet.
Both hand the file to the standard iOS share sheet, so you decide where it goes — Files, mail, another app. Nothing is uploaded on the way.
This works whether or not you have bought the app, and it keeps working after the trial has ended.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. That is the whole of it, because there is nowhere else it exists.
The trial
The trial is twelve logged workouts. Not twelve days, so it doesn't run down if you aren't using the app.
What happens when the trial ends
One thing stops: starting a new workout. Everything else stays exactly where it was.
Buying it
One payment, once — no subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel, and no second payment for anything added later.
Restoring a purchase
If you have bought it before — on another phone, or before you reinstalled — use Restore a purchase on the unlock screen rather than paying again. It asks the App Store about the Apple Account currently signed in on the device.
If it says nothing was found, the usual reason is that the purchase is on a different Apple Account from the one signed in now. Nothing is charged by trying.
Restoring brings back the unlock. It does not bring back your workouts, because those were never anywhere but the old phone.
Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something about the app is the reason you want one, we would genuinely like to hear about it either way.
An exercise is filed under the wrong movement
Tell us. Every exercise is filed by what your joints are doing, which is a clear rule most of the time and a judgment call the rest of it — the hip machines and the sled are the ones we are least settled on. If something is filed somewhere that seems wrong to you, we would rather hear it than have you work around it.
An exercise is missing
Add it yourself, in the app — it behaves like any other exercise once you have. The form also offers to suggest it to us, so the library can grow from real use. That box is unchecked, and ticking it opens an email in your own mail app with the details filled in — you read it and send it, or you don't.
